Once a worrier, always a worrier?

Is that true? A relative said that to me recently, in a conversation. And I had to pause. Was that true for me?

I've spent many nights battling frightful dreams to wake up to a sore jaw. Or nights laying awake, staring at the ceiling. More recently, my distraction of choice is long scientific articles about space exploration to distract and bore me enough from the crisis at hand.
